  • My Cup Runneth Over
Drea Ellis grew up in Seattle and Houston. She attended BYU in Provo, UT and graduated in 2009 with a BS in Sociology, emphasis in minority studies, as well as a certificate to teach English as a second language. The day after she graduated, she moved to Slovakia to pursue a teaching job. After being forced to flee the country, she came back to Provo and began working as a personal assistant for an orthopedic trauma surgeon, whom she currently works for.

Her first encounter with yoga was in her living room in 2005. Her and her roommates begin teaching themselves out of the book, "Ashtanga Yoga" by David Swenson. This sparked her interest in yoga and she continued to do it (inconsistently) for the next 7 years. After having knee surgery in 2012, she began a consistent yoga practice at The Yoga Underground in Provo, UT, practicing 4-6 times a week.

After feeling the benefits in her own life, she knew she needed it to share it with others. In 2013, she attended teacher training at 3B Yoga in Provo, Utah and got her 200 hour certification. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance.
